The school was built in 1990 and was formed by the amalgamation of Leigh Sinton and Bransford schools. The school was further extended in 2000 with the addition of a computer room. Further small scale improvements have been made since that time to include external teaching and play facilities and some additional internal group teaching space.

In 2016, the school was significantly extended with the addition of 3 classrooms and a new library. This has enabled the school to become one form entry with a final PAN of 210 pupils. The additional places will enable Leigh and Bransford to properly serve its growing villages well into the future.
